My Favorite Spanish Songs

Hey guys!
I've been listening to a lot of spanish music lately because this is the first semester in over four years that I'm not taking a spanish class and I'm trying my hardest to be semi-decent at it. I have a whole playlist on spanish songs, on spotify (click here to get it), but I thought I'd list them here as well! This is in order of how much I like the songs!

1) Mi Primer Millon - Bacilos
2) Volví a Nacer - Carlos Vives
3) Me Voy - Julieta Venegas
4) La Luz - Juanes
5) Danza Kuduro - Don Omar (I'm aware it's not technically "spanish", but let's let it slide!)
6) Bendita Tu Luz - Mana
7) El Perdón - Nicky Jam, Enrique Iglesias
8) Cheerleader Remix - Omi

Let me know what other songs and artists I should be listening to in the comments down below! Also, please follow this blog on bloglovin for more!

What Happened in Reno, Sacramento, and San Diego?

Hey guys!
I'm literally the dumbest person in the world because I filmed this video over a month ago, totally forgot about it, found it today, and decided to post it. This is from the first of my two trips to California and is all about that trip! I hope you enjoy it!

I hope you enjoyed this video! If you did, please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to my vlog channel! Also, make sure that you watch the video from my second trip to California because it's a billion times fancier and better!

Why is it So Hard to Get a Drivers License?!?!

Hey guys!
I know that many of you are aware that I'm leaving for college on the 12th and that I was trying to get my drivers license before then. Well, I took the driving test today and I failed. I'm not so upset that I failed, because I was kind of expecting that, but I'm pretty upset with the whole DMV system. Every state is different for when you can retest, but in Hawaii it's a week. Except I'll be on a plane in a week, so I guess I'll have to wait until December to take it... Oh well, that's unavoidable, but the things that I got marked off on were pretty ridiculous. The first ridiculous thing that I got marked off on was for going 28 mph in a 25 zone. Sure, I guess you can call this "speeding", but everyone around me was going way over 30! The other thing that bugged me was that she said I didn't move into the intersection fast enough after the car in front of me made a left turn. I did it, but it wasn't fast enough. I think the thing about road testing in general that really bugs me is that it holds you to a higher standard than the majority of people out there. You can be a darn good driver, but that doesn't mean that you'll pass a road test. These people are picky and literally scrutinize your driving to an extreme. Nobody drives like the way you're supposed to on the test, and I think that they should change the test to reflect that. Obviously if you're not a safe driver, that's one thing, but for the rest of us that know what we're doing, it shouldn't be this difficult. I don't know what this post was! I guess it was a rant-ish thing of sorts, but it really bothers me that I'll have to wait until winter to take my road test again...
Ugh, well I guess that's life :P

What I Wish I Knew About Applying to College

Hi guys!
I wanted to do this video because the college application process can be overwhelming and scary. I went through it last year, and I wanted to share some of my tips and advice for any of you going through the same situation! You don't need to be a senior to watch this video, though. If you're in high school at all, this video will still be really helpful!

Let me know in the comments if you have any questions and I'll be sure to answer them! Also, please give this video a thumbs up and subscribe to support my channel!

Packing For College...

So, today I started packing for college. My closet literally has nothing in it, and half of my stuff is in a garbage bag that's going to goodwill. It's really hard because Reno's going to be so different from Hawaii. They actually get the four season, and temperature changes, and trying to pack for all that is really hard! I packed a large suitcase full of jeans, leggings, dresses, tops, and sweaters for college (still gotta pack them underwear though!) and I'm in the process of trying to pack a smaller carry on suitcase full of my more summery clothes for when I'm in LA and disneyland and all that good stuff! I think my biggest fear is that I'm not going to pack enough, but at the same time, my dorm is brand spanking new and I've never seen it before, so another very real fear is that I'm packing too much. It's hard because I'm a first child, and I have no frame of reference as to how much I should pack, and what's necessary, and what's not. And I have a mother that's trying to kick me out of my room, so I can't really keep much at home at all! I guess the main point of this post is that I'm super stressed and super busy, and I'm sorry for neglecting this blog. If it makes you feel any better, I've been posting almost daily on Modern Beauty Girl and I've posted a bit on Sisi Travels! But I'm definitely going to make a point to post here more frequently, but I make no promises!

My Thoughts On Million Dollar Listings San Francisco

Hi guys!
If you've been a long time reader, you know that I'm obsessed with the whole Million Dollar Listings series. New York is by far my favorite, Los Angeles is pretty good too, but Miami was horrible! I had some pretty high expectations for Miami last year and it just was not fun to watch and was horrible! Coming from that, I was skeptical about San Fran, but I'm overall pretty impressed.

This show follows three male brokers, and I know that this probably bothers some people because 11/12 brokers in the series are male, but I hated watching Sam (from Miami), so I'm totally fine with this. I really like the group of brokers that they chose for this. Andrew is hilarious because he says things so nonchalantly and serious. I really like Roh because he's an immigrant and I think he shares that same drive that Luis and Fredrik (from NY) have. Justin's just kind of "there" for me. I don't have any strong feelings about him yet, but I usually feel that way about at least one person at the start of a new series.

The city is so reflected in each of the cities that this series covers, and I am obsessed with this. I think that San Francisco can seem to be really urban and city-like, but this show shows the more suburban areas nicely. I think that it's also really fun because you have all these tech people at the showings and it's a different clientele than on the other shows.

Overall, I'm really into this show so far! I think that I might even like it more than Million Dollar Listings LA, which is saying a lot for me! I can't wait to see what happens in the coming weeks, and I'll definitely be an avid watcher! Let me know if you've seen the show yet, and what you think of it!

Happy Fourth of July!

Hi guys!
I just wanted to take a quick minute and say Happy 4th of July! Right now, in America, I believe it is a time of conflict. People have differing opinions about the future of the country, what should or should not be legalized, and so forth. But today's the day to forget all of that. Instead, be thankful for the fact that we have freedom of speech, freedom to be who we are, freedom to love who we want. Today's the day to remember and thank those who have fought to preserve this freedom, and to honor the most amazing country in the world.
